Then journey north along the legendary Georgian Military Highway to Gudauri. Visit the Ananuri Fortress on the shores of a turquoise reservoir, cross the dramatic Jvari Pass, and stand before the iconic Gergeti Trinity Church with Mount Kazbek towering behind — one of the most photographed scenes in the Caucasus.
